The number of genuinely affordable homes delivered in Ealing.
The gross supply of genuinely affordable homes delivered is defined as the number of affordable homes provided through new builds (excluding shared ownership properties) or newly acquired homes for social housing.
Affordable housing is defined by the Government as including social and affordable rented and intermediate housing. This can also include pitches on Gypsy and Traveller sites owned and managed by local authorities or Registered Providers. It also includes rented housing owned by other persons and provided under equivalent rental arrangements as agreed with the local authority or funded with grant from the HCA. Affordable rent is rent that is up to 80% of market rent and includes service charges. Social rent is rented housing owned by local authorities and Registered Providers for which guideline target rents are still applied, service charge is not included.
